5G encompasses the development of various key wireless communication technology standards. The development entails both\ntechnological advancement and social interaction. This paper analyzes 5G development and its significant shift from a strategy\npolicy to a user-oriented development showing the coplay of technology and society in China. Based on this theory, relevant\nproposals are recommended for future technical development and industrial regulation. Also, to increase the throughput and\nspectrum efficiency, channel assignment and load balance are considered. A hybrid routing protocol TOHRP (tree-based and ondemand\nhybrid routing protocol) and a distributed channel assignment algorithm LBCA (Load Based Channel Assignment) in the\nmultichannel environment are proposed and they solve the traditional problem of (1) waste of spectrum and (2) self-interference.\nThe computer-simulated experiment shows that the algorithm improves the performance....
In the new era, the arrival of 5G has added a lot of fun and beauty to our lives, allowing us to enjoy the happiness brought by the network even more. The 5th Generation mobile technology (5G for short) is a new generation of broadband mobile communication technology with features such as higher speed, lower latency, and massive connectivity. Moreover, this is a network infrastructure that, in fact, realizes the interconnections among humans, computer machines, and sensors/things, i.e., Internet of things. The world can now be characterized as a whole global village. The 5 G, mobile edge computing networks, and cloud-edge collaborative computing allow us to communicate and share information on the cloud networks, allowing us to better understand the global village. Based on cloud-edge collaborative computing for 5G edge networks, this study builds a task scheduling algorithm, which will help us to check network defects and make better use of the 5G technology to serve customers. The rapid development of web technology has brought new problems and challenges to the recommendation system: on the one hand, the traditional collaborative filtering recommendation algorithm has been difficult to meet the personalized recommendation needs of users; on the other hand, the massive data brought by web technology provides more useful information for recommendation algorithms. How to extract features from this information, alleviate sparsity and dynamic timeliness, and effectively improve recommendation quality is a hot issue in the research of recommendation system algorithms. In view of the lack of an effective multisource information fusion mechanism in the existing research, an improved 5G multimedia precision marketing based on an improved multisensor node collaborative filtering recommendation algorithm is proposed. By expanding the input vector field, the features of users’ social relations and comment information are extracted and fused, and the problem of collaborative modelling of these two kinds of important auxiliary information is solved. The objective function is improved, the social regularization term and the internal regularization term in the vector domain are analysed and added from the perspective of practical significance and vector structure, which alleviates the overfitting problem. Experiments on a large number of real datasets show that the proposed method has higher recommendation quality than the classical and mainstream baseline algorithm....
To meet the requirements of 5G mobile networks, several radio access technologies, such as millimeter wave\ncommunications and massive MIMO, are being proposed. In addition, cloud radio access network (C-RAN) architectures are\nconsidered instrumental to fully exploit the capabilities of future 5G RANs. However, RAN centralization imposes stringent\nrequirements on the transport network, which today are addressed with purpose-specific and expensive fronthaul links. As\nthe demands on future access networks rise, so will the challenges in the fronthaul and backhaul segments. It is hence of\nfundamental importance to consider the design of transport networks alongside the definition of future access\ntechnologies to avoid the transport becoming a bottleneck. Therefore, we analyze in this work the impact\nthat future RAN technologies will have on the transport network and on the design of the next generation\nfronthaul interface. To understand the especially important impact of varying user traffic, we utilize measurements from a\nreal-world 4G network and, taking target 5G performance figures into account, extrapolate its statistics to a 5G scenario.\nWith this, we derive both per-cell and aggregated data rate requirements for 5G transport networks. In addition, we show\nthat the effect of statistical multiplexing is an important factor to reduce transport network capacity requirements and\ncosts. Based on our investigations, we provide guidelines for the development of the 5G transport network architecture....
To meet the diverse industrial and market demands, the International Telecommunication\nUnion (ITU) has classified the fifth-generation (5G) into ultra-reliable low latency communications\n(URLLC), enhanced mobile broadband (eMBB), and massive machine-type communications (mMTC).\nResearchers conducted studies to achieve the implementation of the mentioned distributions efficiently,\nwithin the available spectrum. This paper aims to highlight the importance of URLLC in accordance\nwith the approaching era of technology and industry requirements. While highlighting a few\nimplementation issues of URLLC, concerns for the Internet of things (IoT) devices that depend on\nthe low latency and reliable communications of URLLC are also addressed. In this paper, the recent\nprogress of 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) standardization and the implementation of\nURLLC are included. Finally, the research areas that are open for further investigation in URLLC\nimplementation are highlighted, and efficient implementation of URLLC is discussed....

Channels of mobile satellite communications are affected by multipath fading and shadowing attenuation. At the same time,\ndiversity gains are believed to improve the transmission reliability in fading channels. Considering that the traditional Space-Time\nCoding (STC) is not suitable for the cooperative mobile satellite communication, in this paper, a new cooperative mobile satellite\ncommunication system is proposed based on the Dynamic Space-Time Coding (D-STC). The transmitting energy of the proposed\nscheme is saved by avoiding forwarding erroneous signals in cooperative users.Meanwhile, this system benefits from diversity gains\nand the transmission is robust. Additionally, a closed-form expression of the outage probability for the proposed scheme is derived,\nand then it is demonstrated that this scheme is much better than the existing non cooperative scheme and schemes with traditional\nSTCs in the outage performance. Finally, the analytical result is supported and validated by numerical simulations....
Cognitive radios can significantly improve the spectral efficiency of wireless communications. Spectrum sensing is a key function of cognitive radios to prevent the harmful interference with licensed users. This paper considers the cooperative spectrum sensing in 230MHz electric wireless private networks. First, the statistical distribution of the sample covariance matrix of the received signals is investigated. Then, taking the ratio of the sum of absolute values of the off-diagonal elements of the sample covariance matrix to that of the diagonal elements as the decision metric, an improved covariance absolute value (ICAV) cooperative sensing algorithm is proposed. After that, a performance analysis concerning the probabilities of false alarm and detection is carried out. Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the ICAV algorithm possesses an accurate decision threshold and is robust to the noise uncertainty....
In the Internet of things (IoT), network devices and mobile systems should exchange a considerable amount of data with negligible\ndelays. For this purpose, the community has used the software-defined networking (SDN), which has provided high-speed flowbased\ncommunication mechanisms. To satisfy the requirements of SDN in the classification of communicated packets, highthroughput\npacket classification systems are needed. A hardware-based method of Internet packet classification that could be\nsimultaneously high-speed and memory-aware has been proved to be able to fill the gap between the network speed and the\nprocessing speed of the systems on the network in traffics higher than 100 Gbps. The current architectures, however, have not been\nsuccessful in achieving these two goals. This paper proposes the architecture of a processing micro-core for packet classification in\nhigh-speed, flow-based network systems. By using the hashing technique, this classifying micro-core fixes the length of the rules\nfield. As a result, with a combination of SRAM and BRAM memory cells and implementation of two ports on Virtex...................
